OUR HISTORY

In 1992, we opened the firm with the premise of serving individual and business needs in a competent and timely manner. Over the years, we’ve added several new lines of service in response to our clients’ increasing needs. Growing beyond traditional tax services, we also offer investment management and financial planning.

We believe that to be successful in today’s business environment, we must have a multidisciplinary education approach to better advise our clients on their evolving needs. Our Owners

Kathy Alber is an Omaha native and a graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a shareholder of the firm. Kathy brings accounting and pension administration experience to our team, having worked in real estate, investment brokerage services, as well as logistics and supply management. Kathy is an Enrolled Agent and an Investment Advisor Representative. Kathy is married and has three children. As a soon to be “empty nester,” she is looking forward to seeking out new volunteer opportunities outside of the K-12 school arena. Or she may learn a new language – ASL. In the meantime, Kathy enjoys working in her yard and tackling DIY home improvements with her husband.

Dan Grieb is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha and president of DSG Advisors. The firm opened its doors in 1992 with an emphasis on tax planning and preparation, small business accounting, and investment management. Dan has worked with a diverse group of clients. He has been an active volunteer for numerous nonprofit groups in the metro area and was a member of the Nebraska Society of CPAs. Dan is married and has two children. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys golfing, all types of traveling and hiking with his family.
